SightGlass Vision DOT

The SightGlass Vision DOT lens is a first-line option for managing myopia in children. A one-year clinical trial has shown strong results in slowing myopia progression. Unlike other designs that use optical defocus, DOT lenses are based on contrast theory.

These lenses use Diffusion Optics Technology (DOT™), which contains thousands of tiny light-scattering elements, each about one tenth of a millimeter wide. Instead of creating peripheral defocus, the microdots soften contrast before it reaches the retina. This provides a more natural visual experience, similar to single vision lenses, while helping to slow eye growth.
