Essilor® Stellest® 2. 0 lenses
Essilor® Stellest® 2.0 lenses† are glasses lenses designed to help slow myopia (near-sightedness) in children. It builds on the original Essilor® Stellest® lenses‡, which were the first glasses lenses authorised for marketing by the FDA and clinically proven to slow myopia progression in children.
Essilor® Stellest® 2.0 lenses† use H.A.L.T.* MAX technology, an updated optical design that is even more effective than the first-generation lens.‡ The lenses create a larger area of non-focused light in front of the retina, which is designed to help slow eye growth. Currently, Essilor® Stellest® 2.0 lenses† are the most effective glasses lenses for managing myopia in the Essilor® product range.¶
Essilor®, Stellest®, AIRWEAR® are trademarks of Essilor International.
* H.A.L.T. is an acronym for Highly Aspherical Lenslet Target and does not imply a “halt” or “stop” of myopia progression.
† Essilor® Stellest® 2.0 lenses are not currently available in all countries, including the U.S. and have not been cleared by the U.S. FDA.
‡ Essilor® Stellest® lens regulatory status and product availability may vary by country. U.S. FDA authorization and indications for use are based solely on clinical trial data from the U.S.
